About
A scholar who has also lived inside the work of organizations.
Tomas Thundiyil is an associate professor of management, author, scholar-operator, and longtime student of how human beings create realities together.

Across theory and practice
Tomas holds a Ph.D. in business management from Texas A&M University and teaches management at Central Michigan University. His research examines constitution, leadership, listening, organizational change, and the creation of futures.
His work is shaped by sustained engagement with both scholarship and practice. Alongside his academic career, he has worked as an operator and M&A practitioner, confronting directly the problems of coordination, commitment, leadership, and institutional life.
For nearly three decades, he has also worked directly with ideas and practices developed by Werner Erhard. His current project brings those phenomena into conversation with contemporary science and scholarship, with the aim of making them available to rigorous inquiry.
